It is just unbelievable how stupid ...
It is just unbelievable how stupid people sometimes thinking and thinking that others are just idiots. I bought a Mac on ebay the other day and the seller do not want to send it to me because he is still on a contract with this laptop. Seriously, I do not feel good when people doing this.

I bought a Mac Book laptop
I am very pleased to have so dreamed about Mac Book. I bought it from ebay with some adventures. The seller she in my opinion turned out to be completely computer impaired and listed the laptop not correctly. Thats why this laptop is with Mac OS 10.4 but not 10.5 as advertised.
But I will buy Mac OS 10.6 Snow Leopard. This OS I need for my ACMT Apple Certified Mac Technician.

Bank Holiday
Today is Bank Holiday in England. Time to check my bike because it needs some repair work. Last time I replaced bearings in rear wheel. Now it seems that it is a little loose. So need to buy a 17 mm spanner on ebay and tighten it properly.

Today I had a flash in my mind about site positioning in search engines. I think Google engineers got pretty smart how to determine site relevance to the keywords typed in.
For example, lets look at a web site ibm.com (lenovo.com). What do you think. Will it be relevant to the typed in keyword IBM. Will it be relevant to typed in keyword laptop computer. Yes of course. Now answer my question how to tell google that this is the site that must rank high for keywords IBM and laptop computer. Let's back engineer it. This site is old and has a content about laptop computer for a long time. There are many links to this site with anchor text laptop computer. It has downloadable drivers, manuals etc. The site has many internal links. The site provides support and site has something to offer like laptop computers.

Improving my room
Today I finally got good operator chair in my room. Looks and feels nice. I bought it from ebay. Found there somebody who is selling operator chairs as cheap as 30 pounds for one chair.
Next is my PC table project. This is not like design but I need a very small desk table to fit my room. I have desk dimensions: height should be about 73 cm, width I have chosen 70 cm and depth will be 45 cm. very very small PC desk to suit a laptop, may be keyboard and monitor.
Thinking to transfer remusnet.com to another hosting. It will be BlueHost.

Getting ready for CompTia exams
Today is the Friday and I am reading the book CompTia A+ certification second time. Now it
is easier to understand everything as part of information is already remembered. What I
still hardly remember is LCD monitor resolutions, fiber optic cable types, backup types and
which one touches archive attribute. For example there is fiber optic connectors square SC and round connector ST. Why they are named like this have no idea. And what is MT-RJ connector which is for full-duplex connections.
I though that in fiber optic must be used a laser but it turns out that in reality most of fiber optic uses LED ? and runs in multimode.
And there is two fiber optic standards 1000BaseSX and 10GBaseSR.

Two days left until my Comptia A+ essential exam
I feel little overwhelmed. This is because a lot of information needs to remember and another interesting thing is about exams practice software on the computer. I have a book CompTia A+ Certification exam guide. With this book comes a DVD with a software to practice on the computer. Sadly may be because it is a demo soft all questions are repeating if you try to practice on it second time.

Plans to get CompTia A+ certification
I am planning to get CompTia A+ certification. Would like to take the first exam on Friday the 20 th Aug 2010. The book I have to get ready for this exam is crazy long 1200 pages. Everybody who have read this book will confirm that this is really book worth the money spent and may be even more. Good for me that about 50 percent information for me is not new but some parts are really hard.

I will test my persistence or I hate SEO
Ok. Let's say search engines like incoming links. Then if I can get a link every days and do it for a year or so. Then it would be approx 365 links to the website per one year. Would be links counted as good links and will it increase website rankings.
Recently I have watched a few videos related to google webmaster tools. The presenter did talk lot about black hat and white hat techniques. He mentioned that google treys to cut off the content generated by black hat techniques using webmasters and let white hat technic sites rank better. So where they left business people who concentrates on business and don't have the time to play SEO games.

It is strange for me that my site does not get visitors from search engines. It has good information with pictures. There is also complete guides how to perform various computer diagnostics. I have seen websites full of affiliate links and adsense ads ranking well. Why it is like this. I just want to have my business on-line and in real world. I think it is too hard to compete against crazy site optimizations and folks from India generating gazillions of Internet pages.

Ubuntu Installation from Ubuntu Live CD
The Linux Ubuntu installation is pretty straightforward. Presently, the entire Ubuntu 9.04 distribution is compiled into just one installation CD. To get the Ubuntu ISO file, simply follow this link. To install Ubuntu from a CD, you will simply need to burn the downloaded ISO file onto a CD. After that, you need to set your computer to boot from a CD drive and let it boot. This is the first screen that you will see.

You can now select the language for the setup that you prefer.
Now, you have a menu that gives you 5 different choices. The first choice is to boot Ubuntu from the disk without installation. This will leave the hard disk untouched. The second choice is to install Ubuntu on the computer. The third choice is to check the hard disk for errors. It is recommended to perform this check because it takes care of any possible bad sectors on your disk. The fourth choice will be to test the memory or RAM. The fifth choice would be to boot as usual from the hard disk.
